Mehfile Doroud-o Astaghfar
In view of the deteriorating law and order situation in the country, Dawood Public School organised ‘Mehfil-e-Dua’ on Friday 11th Feb 2010 , to pray for peace, brotherhood, and a safer environment for the people. A recital of the Holy Quran, Durood, Astaghfar, Ayat-e-Karima, congregational prayers and Naats was done by students as well as the staff members on the occasion. A collective prayer was also held at the end of the event. Meanwhile, Principal Dawood Public School Viqar Afza said that all Pakistanis should put aside their differences and be united to pray for peace and prosperity of our beloved country. Our students and staff members are part of the society and depict the concerns of every common Pakistani citizen, the principal said.
